KOT slips and billing for restaurants in Breach Candy
Updated 25 October 2026
W8R is restaurant billing and table software for Breach Candy, Mumbai. It is one product for the city, used on a phone, tablet, or computer. This page is about how a restaurant around Breach Candy hospital, Warden Road, and the club stretch actually runs, and where orders, bills, and tables usually slip.
A restaurant day in Breach Candy
Breach Candy has hospital visitors, residents, and a short row of cafes and restaurants. Lunch and early evening are the busy windows. Bills need to be clear because many guests are from outside the neighbourhood. Some counters also send parcels to nearby buildings.
Where the day breaks
A parcel and a table order that leave the kitchen in the same minute get swapped when both were spoken. The person at the counter is also settling a visitor who is already late for the hospital gate.
One fix on the floor
Mark parcel orders as parcels when they are booked, and keep them off the dine-in table list. Print the kitchen slip with a token or a name before you take the next visitor's payment.
How W8R fits Breach Candy
W8R prints a kitchen slip for each order and shows a bill the guest can pay before they leave. Table orders and other orders stay in one list without becoming one scribble.
The same screen prints the guest bill and the kitchen slip on the 80mm thermal printer you already have. The QR on the bill can carry the bill amount, so the guest pays the figure on the paper. You change menu prices yourself. You can see what sold for a day, a week, a month, or dates you pick. If you also sell on Swiggy or Zomato, you mark that order yourself. It does not arrive from those apps on its own.
Who it suits here
Around Breach Candy hospital, Warden Road, and the club stretch, the usual rooms are cafes, hospital-area restaurants, and parcel counters. If your outlet is closer to Kemp's Corner, read the notes for Kemp's Corner as well. The product is the same. The rush is not.
W8R will not correct a price you typed wrong, and it will not replace a cook. It keeps the order, the table, the slip, and the payment in one list so the close is not a memory test.
