Restaurant sales reporting software
The day's number should come from the orders, not from a spreadsheet filled in after close. W8R shows sales for a day, a week, a month, or any dates you pick.

Sample day · not your sales
These figures are a sample screen. Your sales are the orders you took in W8R.
The ranges owners actually ask for
Today, this week, and this month cover the usual questions. A custom range covers the festival weekend, the week a price changed, or the dates an accountant asked for. You pick the dates. The report is the orders inside them.
Best sellers are the items that sold the most in that range. Use that the next morning: what to prep, what to drop, what ran out. It is not a guess from the person who closed.
Cash, UPI, and card on the same day
A single sales total hides a drawer that does not match. W8R splits the day across cash, UPI, and card, so the close is a comparison you can point at. Card can be zero. That is a real day in plenty of rooms, and the report should say so.
Delivery orders you marked as Swiggy, Zomato, or another source sit in the same day's picture. They are not imported from those apps. If you did not mark them, they are not in the report. Ingredient stock is a separate screen: a sold dish is a sales line, not an automatic stock deduction. That is covered on restaurant inventory management.
Where it is used
Open yesterday before the prep list. Best sellers and the payment split are already there.
Pick the dates around a price change and see whether the new plate sold.
Match the cash drawer and the UPI total to the report, instead of rebuilding the day from memory.
Questions
Can I see my best-selling items?
Yes. See what sold the most, and your sales for a day, a week, a month, or dates you pick.
Are the numbers on the website my sales?
No. Samples on this site are examples. Your report uses the orders taken in your restaurant.
Does the report include Swiggy by itself?
Only the orders you marked as Swiggy, Zomato, or another source. They do not arrive from those apps on their own.
