Counter billing for restaurants in Kurla
Updated 25 October 2026
W8R is restaurant billing and table software for Kurla, Mumbai. It is one product for the city, used on a phone, tablet, or computer. This page is about how a restaurant around Kurla station, Phoenix Marketcity, and the edge toward BKC actually runs, and where orders, bills, and tables usually slip.
A restaurant day in Kurla
Kurla mixes local dining and mall traffic. Station-side restaurants do fast meals for commuters. Marketcity pulls a different crowd. BKC offices add lunch demand nearby. These are different speeds, sometimes owned by people who assume one process should cover all of them.
Where the day breaks
A commuter queue abandons a counter that is handwriting bills. A longer table has the opposite problem: add-on orders. One notebook cannot describe a token and a two-hour sitting.
One fix on the floor
For the station counter, use tokens and print the slip immediately. For a longer table, keep the bill open and add items. Do not force both into one habit.
How W8R fits Kurla
W8R supports a fast counter order and an open table. You see which orders are still open and how the day split between cash and UPI.
The same screen prints the guest bill and the kitchen slip on the 80mm thermal printer you already have. The QR on the bill can carry the bill amount, so the guest pays the figure on the paper. You change menu prices yourself. You can see what sold for a day, a week, a month, or dates you pick. If you also sell on Swiggy or Zomato, you mark that order yourself. It does not arrive from those apps on its own.
Who it suits here
Around Kurla station, Phoenix Marketcity, and the edge toward BKC, the usual rooms are quick-service, family restaurants, and mall-side dining. If your outlet is closer to BKC, read the notes for BKC as well. The product is the same. The rush is not.
W8R will not correct a price you typed wrong, and it will not replace a cook. It keeps the order, the table, the slip, and the payment in one list so the close is not a memory test.
