Table management for restaurants in Mahim
Updated 25 October 2026
W8R is restaurant billing and table software for Mahim, Mumbai. It is one product for the city, used on a phone, tablet, or computer. This page is about how a restaurant around Mahim station, Mahim Causeway, and the village edge actually runs, and where orders, bills, and tables usually slip.
A restaurant day in Mahim
Mahim restaurants serve local families and people crossing toward Bandra. Dinner is steadier than lunch. Rooms are not huge, so a few occupied tables decide the night. Seafood and casual plates are common. The owner can see the whole room, which makes a system feel optional until two families arrive together.
Where the day breaks
Two families are told to the kitchen as one order. The bills cannot be split cleanly afterwards. UPI from one family is applied to the other table because both payments hit the same phone.
One fix on the floor
Open two tables even if you took the orders in one conversation. Print two kitchen slips if needed, so each bill and each payment stands alone.
How W8R fits Mahim
W8R keeps each table's order and payment separate. A small Mahim room can still run the service from one phone or tablet.
The same screen prints the guest bill and the kitchen slip on the 80mm thermal printer you already have. The QR on the bill can carry the bill amount, so the guest pays the figure on the paper. You change menu prices yourself. You can see what sold for a day, a week, a month, or dates you pick. If you also sell on Swiggy or Zomato, you mark that order yourself. It does not arrive from those apps on its own.
Who it suits here
Around Mahim station, Mahim Causeway, and the village edge, the usual rooms are family restaurants, seafood places, and local dine-in. If your outlet is closer to Dadar, read the notes for Dadar as well. The product is the same. The rush is not.
W8R will not correct a price you typed wrong, and it will not replace a cook. It keeps the order, the table, the slip, and the payment in one list so the close is not a memory test.
