Dine-in and delivery tickets in Khar
Updated 25 October 2026
W8R is restaurant billing and table software for Khar, Mumbai. It is one product for the city, used on a phone, tablet, or computer. This page is about how a restaurant around Khar station, Linking Road in Khar West, and the lanes toward Pali Hill actually runs, and where orders, bills, and tables usually slip.
A restaurant day in Khar
Khar continues Bandra's restaurant trade with more residents than tourists. Cafes and restaurants run through the week. Delivery and parcel sit beside dine-in. Rooms are smaller than the biggest Bandra sites, so one kitchen is doing both jobs.
Where the day breaks
A parcel bag and a dine-in plate leave the pass in the same minute. If both were verbal, the table gets the parcel or the rider gets the wrong bag. The manager notices when the guest complains.
One fix on the floor
Print the parcel slip with the guest name and the table slip with the table number. Do not hand a bag out until the name matches the ticket.
How W8R fits Khar
W8R prints a kitchen slip for each order and keeps dine-in tables visible. You can mark an order as Swiggy, Zomato, or another source yourself. Those orders do not arrive from the apps on their own.
The same screen prints the guest bill and the kitchen slip on the 80mm thermal printer you already have. The QR on the bill can carry the bill amount, so the guest pays the figure on the paper. You change menu prices yourself. You can see what sold for a day, a week, a month, or dates you pick. If you also sell on Swiggy or Zomato, you mark that order yourself. It does not arrive from those apps on its own.
Who it suits here
Around Khar station, Linking Road in Khar West, and the lanes toward Pali Hill, the usual rooms are cafes, casual restaurants, and parcel kitchens. If your outlet is closer to Bandra, read the notes for Bandra as well. The product is the same. The rush is not.
W8R will not correct a price you typed wrong, and it will not replace a cook. It keeps the order, the table, the slip, and the payment in one list so the close is not a memory test.
