Restaurant billing software in Santacruz
Updated 25 October 2026
W8R is restaurant billing and table software for Santacruz, Mumbai. It is one product for the city, used on a phone, tablet, or computer. This page is about how a restaurant around Santacruz station, Santacruz West market, and the domestic airport side actually runs, and where orders, bills, and tables usually slip.
A restaurant day in Santacruz
Santacruz restaurants serve a residential west side, a busier east side near the airport, and travellers who want one proper meal. Hotel and airline hours are uneven. Local families keep the regular dinner trade. The person on the counter at night is not always the person who trained on the old book.
Where the day breaks
A junior staff member handwrites a bill, and the UPI is paid against the wrong prompt. The next morning the numbers do not match the complaint. Open tables were described in a spoken handover and one was dropped.
One fix on the floor
Use one billing screen that prints the amount. Train the night person to close each order when it is paid. Leave the open list empty, or named, at handover.
How W8R fits Santacruz
W8R works on a phone or laptop the night person already has. The order stays open until it is settled. Handover is the list on the screen.
The same screen prints the guest bill and the kitchen slip on the 80mm thermal printer you already have. The QR on the bill can carry the bill amount, so the guest pays the figure on the paper. You change menu prices yourself. You can see what sold for a day, a week, a month, or dates you pick. If you also sell on Swiggy or Zomato, you mark that order yourself. It does not arrive from those apps on its own.
Who it suits here
Around Santacruz station, Santacruz West market, and the domestic airport side, the usual rooms are family restaurants, airport-side dining, and cafes. If your outlet is closer to Vile Parle, read the notes for Vile Parle as well. The product is the same. The rush is not.
W8R will not correct a price you typed wrong, and it will not replace a cook. It keeps the order, the table, the slip, and the payment in one list so the close is not a memory test.
