Run restaurant billing on a phone in Mazgaon
Updated 25 October 2026
W8R is restaurant billing and table software for Mazgaon, Mumbai. It is one product for the city, used on a phone, tablet, or computer. This page is about how a restaurant around Mazgaon and the lanes toward Byculla actually runs, and where orders, bills, and tables usually slip.
A restaurant day in Mazgaon
Mazgaon restaurants follow work shifts more than weekend trends. Rooms are small. The owner is usually on the floor. A computer in a back office would not be used once the first shift sits down.
Where the day breaks
Shift meals arrive together. A verbal order from the second shift overwrites the first. Cash from both shifts hits a small counter in one hour and is miscounted because nobody closed the first bill.
One fix on the floor
Print one kitchen slip per order and close each bill before you take the next shift's table, even if the first guest is still finishing.
How W8R fits Mazgaon
W8R runs on the owner's phone, prints on the thermal printer you have, and shows what was paid in cash. It matches a room that does not have a back office.
The same screen prints the guest bill and the kitchen slip on the 80mm thermal printer you already have. The QR on the bill can carry the bill amount, so the guest pays the figure on the paper. You change menu prices yourself. You can see what sold for a day, a week, a month, or dates you pick. If you also sell on Swiggy or Zomato, you mark that order yourself. It does not arrive from those apps on its own.
Who it suits here
Around Mazgaon and the lanes toward Byculla, the usual rooms are local restaurants, shift-meal rooms, and small dine-in. If your outlet is closer to Byculla, read the notes for Byculla as well. The product is the same. The rush is not.
W8R will not correct a price you typed wrong, and it will not replace a cook. It keeps the order, the table, the slip, and the payment in one list so the close is not a memory test.
