Dine-in and delivery tickets in Kandivali
Updated 25 October 2026
W8R is restaurant billing and table software for Kandivali, Mumbai. It is one product for the city, used on a phone, tablet, or computer. This page is about how a restaurant around Kandivali station, Mahavir Nagar, and Thakur Village actually runs, and where orders, bills, and tables usually slip.
A restaurant day in Kandivali
Kandivali restaurants serve apartment complexes more than visitors. Thakur Village and Mahavir Nagar have their own cafes and family restaurants. Many guests would rather order to the flat than cross the station, so delivery sits beside a small dine-in room.
Where the day breaks
The kitchen favours whichever order is louder. Unprinted delivery orders are the ones that go out late. The dine-in room then suffers because the kitchen is catching up.
One fix on the floor
Enter the delivery order into the same kitchen list as dine-in, with the platform name on it, so the cook sees a queue instead of hearing a shout.
How W8R fits Kandivali
W8R will not pull Swiggy or Zomato orders in by itself. You mark the source, the order shows with your other tickets, and your sales include it. Dine-in tables stay visible.
The same screen prints the guest bill and the kitchen slip on the 80mm thermal printer you already have. The QR on the bill can carry the bill amount, so the guest pays the figure on the paper. You change menu prices yourself. You can see what sold for a day, a week, a month, or dates you pick. If you also sell on Swiggy or Zomato, you mark that order yourself. It does not arrive from those apps on its own.
Who it suits here
Around Kandivali station, Mahavir Nagar, and Thakur Village, the usual rooms are family restaurants, cafes, and delivery kitchens. If your outlet is closer to Malad, read the notes for Malad as well. The product is the same. The rush is not.
W8R will not correct a price you typed wrong, and it will not replace a cook. It keeps the order, the table, the slip, and the payment in one list so the close is not a memory test.
