Run restaurant billing on a phone in Walkeshwar
Updated 25 October 2026
W8R is restaurant billing and table software for Walkeshwar, Mumbai. It is one product for the city, used on a phone, tablet, or computer. This page is about how a restaurant around Banganga, the Walkeshwar temple lanes, and the residential slope actually runs, and where orders, bills, and tables usually slip.
A restaurant day in Walkeshwar
Walkeshwar eating places are small and local. Regulars expect the same plate. The staff is often the owner plus one helper. There is no cashier's cabin. The phone in the owner's hand is the counter, and the kitchen is a few steps away.
Where the day breaks
When the owner is cooking, the next table's order replaces the first one in memory. UPI arrives on the same phone as personal payments. Cash is in a till. Night close is a guess unless both were written against an order.
One fix on the floor
Take the order on the phone before you start cooking. The saved order has to survive the next table. Match restaurant UPI to that order the same evening, while you still know which alert was the restaurant.
How W8R fits Walkeshwar
W8R runs on the phone you already use. You keep the table list, print a slip on the printer you have, and check cash against UPI without needing a desktop in a room this small.
The same screen prints the guest bill and the kitchen slip on the 80mm thermal printer you already have. The QR on the bill can carry the bill amount, so the guest pays the figure on the paper. You change menu prices yourself. You can see what sold for a day, a week, a month, or dates you pick. If you also sell on Swiggy or Zomato, you mark that order yourself. It does not arrive from those apps on its own.
Who it suits here
Around Banganga, the Walkeshwar temple lanes, and the residential slope, the usual rooms are small local restaurants, tiffin rooms, and family kitchens. If your outlet is closer to Malabar Hill, read the notes for Malabar Hill as well. The product is the same. The rush is not.
W8R will not correct a price you typed wrong, and it will not replace a cook. It keeps the order, the table, the slip, and the payment in one list so the close is not a memory test.
